May 2024/ISF Congress in Rotterdam: We were there !
For the third time, DELTAGee attended the International Seed Federation World Seed Congress in Rotterdam for their 100 Years Anniversary.
After three intense days of meetings with various companies, here are our key take-aways:
– Varietal creation is undoubtedly one of the powerful levers for adaptation to climate change in the plant sectors.
– A significative part of the community is making countless research efforts to elucidate the genetic mechanisms of crop tolerances to abiotic (temperature, water stress, salinity) or biotic stresses (diseases, pests).
For all crops, this new knowledge will make it possible to develop varieties that are ever better adapted to new climatic conditions and support markets’ demands.
To maximize the impact of those researches, it becomes imperative to mobilize this knowledge as quickly as possible to efficiently support the improvement of all varietal creation processes. DELTAGee solutions are undoubtedly there to help!

January 2024/Plant and Genome Conference 31 in San Diego: Great start of the new 2024 season !
The DELTAGee team was delighted to attend PAG 31 in such a great place. It was a wonderful first experience for DELTAGee to be an exhibitor at this event. Over 3,000 leading scientists and researchers in plant and animal genetics came here from all over the world to share their knowledge and best practices !
January 2024/France Bleu RCFM Radio: DELTAGee is on air !
Francois Brunetti, Co-founder and Scientific Director and Alizarine Lorenzi, Quantitative Geneticist, talked about DELTAGee’s vision and their contribution in:
– Developing decision-support tools for seed companies around the world,
– Enabling these companies to sell to farmers, new plant varieties adapted to climate change and geopolitical constraints.
The French seed industry alone, create over 450 new varieties a year and devotes about 13% of its sales to R&D !

A technical leader with over 20 years’ experience in developing innovative products, managing complex projects and leading teams, and former co-founder of several companies, David joined DELTAGee’s team as Chief Technology Officer. “As CTO, my mission is to build a high-performance and scalable platform that enables our customers to take full advantage of the science developed by DELTAGee.“
November 2023/The team is growing : Welcome to Alizarine Lorenzi !
A Graduate of lnstitut Agro Rennes-Angers in Genetics and Plant breeding, and holder of a PhD in Quantitative Genetics completed in collaboration with INRAE, RAGT and ProMais. Alizarine joined DELTAGee’s team as Quantitative geneticist and Product Owner. “Passionate about the challenges facing agriculture from an early age, my conviction lies in the belief that plant improvement and varietal creation are crucial to meet the evolving demands of future agriculture. My mission is to market decision-making tools that serve the stakeholders in varietal creation and provide access to varietal innovations. By developing improved and resilient plants, we not only contribute to environmental sustainability but also ensure food security for future generations.”
October 2023/Euroseeds Congress: Announcement of PROGENO’s acquisition in sunny Malta !
DELTAGee team had the pleasure to attend Euroseeds 2023 to meet again with its members and attendees.
We used the opportunity to announce our latest acquisition of PROGENO, a software solution that supports phenotypic and genomic selections.
It is a complementary add to our portfolio of solution which includes certainTI™ software dedicated to optimise Trait Introgression protocols.

September 2022/Welcome to our first employee Charlotte Joguet !
With a strong background in communication project management in the Culture and Education sectors, Charlotte joined the DELTAGee team as a Sales, Administrative and Executive assistant. Handling a wide range of tasks, from identifying sales prospects to customer account follow-up, she is also responsible of the organization of DELTAGee participation to trade shows (setting appointments, preparation of documents, communication) in addition to her daily Office Manager mission !
